ApeX Omni is the successor to the discontinued ApeX Pro (StarkEx-based) product. The docs mirror hosts both products under the same GitBook space (apex-pro-discontinued/... vs apex-omni/...), so historical ApeX Pro facts (its Nov 2022 launch, StarkEx architecture, BANANA/Trade-to-Earn programmes) must not be attributed to apex-omni's own row. Has Native Collateral: No — ApeX does not issue its own collateral token. Accepted collateral is USDT/USDC/ETH/WETH (CONFIRMED FACT) plus a documented set of externally-issued yield-bearing cross-collateral assets (mETH, cmETH, USDe) that can be posted as margin at a discount, but none of these are minted or issued by ApeX itself. Variable Pair-Fee Schedule: No — one global VIP-tier maker/taker schedule applies uniformly across every crypto perp pair, and the identical schedule is explicitly re-used for TradFi perps ('TradFi Perpetuals follow the same fee structure as crypto perpetuals'). The only fee-rate variation on the platform is by PRODUCT, not by pair: Prediction Markets are priced separately (ApeX fee 1% taker / 0.5% maker plus a variable Polymarket taker fee). Zero-Fee Promotion: No active zero-fee promotion found. The landing/app banners reviewed this pass ('VIP Program Update — New User Program Fee Tiers Effective', 'Event Now Live — Trade the market direction and seize high-yield opportunities') describe fee-tier and trading-event promotions, not a 0-fee market or period; standard VIP-tier maker/taker fees (0.02%/0.05% base) apply across all crypto and TradFi perps.
